Good Afternoon Cedars Families,
I hope this message finds you well and safe! Thank you for your patience as we work on plans for the upcoming school year. As we prepare to welcome students back to school, providing the highest quality educational experiences, building relationships, and offering choices in a safe and healthy learning environment are our top priorities. A second survey was sent out along with a proposed plan. If you haven't completed the second survey, please submit the survey no later than July 23rd.
Bingo Reading Challenge
Our summer reading incentive this summer is Bingo and we'd love everyone to participate! You can access the Bingo card here or below.
To kickoff the Summer Reading Challenge, Ms. Rauls will be giving away (10) $10 VIRTUAL VISA GIFT CARDS to the FIRST TEN POSTS next week. Yes, you read that correctly! Ms. Rauls will give the first 10 students a virtual gift card for kicking off our Summer Reading Challenge next week. All students that participate in this challenge next week will receive a prize in August. WE PLAN TO EXTEND THE CHALLENGE THROUGH MONDAY, JULY 20TH AT 5:00 PM.
Kickoff Reading Challenge Contest Rules:
- Students and parents should read through and like the Cedars Summer Reading Challenge first. The link can be found here or below.
- Students will enjoy reading a book of their choice OR listen to a special book read by Ms. Rauls. The link to Ms. Rauls read aloud can be found here or below.
- Post a picture, video, and/or brief summary of what you've read on our Cedars Facebook Page! Make sure to use #CedarsLoves Reading in your post.
**If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can send either Ms. Rauls ([email protected]) or Mrs. Aguilar (jaguilar@cedars-academy) an email with the same message and Cedars will post your message for you.**
- Virtual Gift Card Contest Date(s): July 11 - July 17 at 5 PM
- All posts must be posted no later than Friday, July 17th at 5 pm CST. We will time stamp each entry into the contest.
- Only (1) entry per child.
- Parents can collect the virtual gift card by replying to Ms. Rauls CONGRATULATIONS email!

***CEDARS SUMMER BINGO CHALLENGE ENDS FRIDAY, AUGUST 14TH***
Cedars Bingo Challenge will end on Friday, August 14, 2020. Once you have completed all the activities on the bingo card, take a picture and email it to Mrs. Reichenau ([email protected]) or Ms. Rolfe ([email protected]). All students that participate will be awarded a prize in August.
