Dear Cedars Families,
I am filled with gratitude for the Destiy Team: Mrs. Contreras, Coach Caldwell, Giana Xenos, and Julij Miller for their exceptional organization of the Career Day on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. We deeply appreciate the presenters who generously shared their career paths with our students.
College and Career Week starts tomorrow. Students will receive information on various careers and college journeys. Students will have a NUT week. Please review the schedule below.

As we reach the midpoint of the final semester, I commend all our students for their hard work and dedication to their studies. With the end of the school year approaching, it's crucial for students to maintain focus and actively participate in their learning. Encourage your child to reach out to teachers for assistance with any academic challenges they may encounter.
A special shoutout to the students: Emily, Angel, Sophie, Adelaide, Estevan, Emanuel, Sanaa, and Dontae. We also want to thank the parents, Mrs. Kuhn, Mrs. Paschal, Mrs. Becker, and Mr. Rodriguez, as well as the teachers, Mrs. Jaimes, Ms. Miller, Ms. Lopez/Borrego, and Ms. De la Hoya, and the cheerleaders who welcomed our Board of Directors to campus last week. We appreciate the time and effort you all put into showcasing how special our school community is and highlighting the amazing things happening on campus.
World's Finest Chocolate
This is our final week of the World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser. We have extended the TOP SELLER & GRAND PRIZE TRIP TO GREAT WOLF LODGE to Friday, April 4. The money raised will go towards field trips in the Spring, International Festival, supplies, and more!
8th Grade Graduation Meeting
Cedars International Academy will host an 8th-grade graduation parent meeting in the cafeteria on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 6:00 pm. This important meeting will include the details regarding graduation and special events.
Assistant Principals’ Day
Join us in celebrating Joann Aguilar, our awesome Assistant Principal, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. The April newsletter includes a link to her favorite things.
Teacher Appreciation
May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week. The Cedars PTO needs your help in thanking our teachers. We will shower them with a variety of thank-you gifts. We are asking for you to donate $10 to support Teacher Appreciation. Please turn in $10 to the school by Friday, April 25, 2025. All students who donate will receive HOUSE POINTS.
